On this photo tour we will travel and photograph the beauty of sandstone rock formations that make up the landscape of the Bohemian Paradise. We set forth rocky area called Hruboskalsko with about 120 hectars. The highest sandstone tower rises up to height of 50 meters. If we are lucky, we can see climbers crawling up the steep walls of rock towers on Dragon tooth or Lighthouse.

An interesting natural phenomenon that was created due to weather in sandstone is less then 100 meters long crevasse Mousehole. Inside of this fissure we will be surprised by the unusual silence, coolness and mystery. Along the way we encounter a rock town massif Devil’s hand, carved Adam’s bed or symbolic cemetery dedicated to deceased Czech climbers.

Ruin castle Trosky will be our next stop on our journey. Gothic castle was built on two steep basalt rocks named Grandmom and Virgin. This castle has never been conquered. The castle and especially the basement is the subject of many legends, mysterious corridors beneath the castle have not been researched. Unfortunately, the entrance to the underground of castle has never been discovered.

Castle Sychrov is dating back to 17th century. The castle was originally built in Baroque style but rebuilt into the Neo-Gothic style. English park is stretching out around the castle. You can join guided tour through the interiors of castle where you can enjoy original furnishing, paintings, Rohan’s collection of ceramics, porcelain and glass.

The Bozkov dolomite caves is a labyrinth of underground corridors and cavities situated not very deep under the surface. The typical and unique decorations of the accessible caves consist in quartz ledges and listels in walls and ceilings. Some of the hollows are even filled with stalactites and stalagmites, including interesting small eccentric stalactites and stalagmites, in addition to the traditional calcite decoration. Attractive items of the sightseeing route also include underground lakes with crystal-clear blue-greenish water.

There is a local brewery on our way which we might visit to taste excellent beer.

You will be picked up at 9 am at your hotel in Prague. On the tour you will be served with light refreshment and drinks anytime you need. You will be back in your hotel between 5 - 6 pm.
