From the main railway station in Prague we'll take the train out of the city, just like the locals! Take in the unique buzz of families and friends getting together for a day in the great outdoors.

Our stroll starts here, where twin villages sit on opposite banks of the Berounka River. We take in a splendid vista of the valley as we make our way from the train station across the bridge.

After crossing the river we make our way through this quaint Bohemian village. We then begin our climb into the rolling hills above the village, and on through the quiet woodland and lush meadows and fields of Český Kras nature reserve.

Our stroll ends in the picturesque village of Karlštejn, famous for the castle built by Charles IV to house the crown jewels. You can stop for refreshments or a bite to eat in one of the traditional family-run taverns in the village if you like. From here your guide will see you safely onto the train back to Prague.
