Prague’s national identity and European culture space are majorly symbolized by the National Theatre. It has a tradition that dates back a hundred and thirty years. The National Theatre is a beacon of culture, as well as a space for free artistic creation. Today, the National Theatre is made up of several companies such as the Drama, the Opera, and the Ballet companies, that not only perform classical titles and Czech works, but also several contemporary, international creations. The National Museum building is the largest and oldest museum in all of the Czech Republic.

Also called the Lesser Quarter or Little Quarter, the Lesser Town is situated in clumps at the base of the Prague Castle, across the river Vltava from the Old Town. The Lesser Town is so beautiful, that it has become the most sought after location for movie settings and commercials. Its charming, ancient burgher houses and queer side lanes are very attractive. Wandering in the nearly deserted, dimly lit streets in the evening is an absolute delight, granting visitors a true feel of a city frozen in time.

You will also witness the magnificence of the Prague Castle. A World Heritage site that is internationally recognized, the Prague Castle is the largest castle in the world that has existed since ancient eras. It covers a huge area that is close to 70,000 square meters. it is currently the biggest coherent castle complex that exists in the world. The Prague Castle is a fascinating amalgamation of delicate architecture from across a thousand years. In the walls of this castle lies a distinct instance of Gothic architecture, the Cathedral of St. Vitus, a very important church in the Czech Republic. There are several tombs of Roman Emperors and Bohemian Kings inside its walls. The main tower in the center stands at an astonishing 103 meters. Additionally, it is home to the Bohemian Crown Jewels. All this makes for an amazing experience that you simply cannot forgo.
