About this activity
You will be picked up from your hotel at around 9am, and after a one hour ride you will arrive at the town of Karlstejn.
Be transported to the castle by horse carriage, and a tour of the castle will follow. It was founded in 1348 by the Czech King, Charles IV, who was also the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The castle was designed to protect the crown jewels and the relics of the Kingdom and the Empire. Its renovation, which lasted from 1887 – 1889, was a purist renovation and both renaissance and more recent changes were removed. On your way back down from the castle you will also have the opportunity to see the town.
After a short ride you will arrive at the Kolkovna Restaurant. A team of experienced chefs will offer you an unique gastronomic experience. All of this with an incredible view of the castle.
The next stop of the tour is the incredible karst cave system named Koněprusy which can be found in the Protected Area of Cesky Kras. The caves are the longest and one of the most famous cave systems in Bohemia.

My husband and I spent a lot of money to go to Prague Airlines, Hotel etc. and to have a very disappointing Tour guide was overwhelming. First off theTour Guide, Mr. Spunry spoke very little English. Could not answer simple questions. He had to use his cell to use Google while driving. His personal hygiene and appearance was unacceptable. I did not see to have any Personal ID from the company he worked for or belong to WWW.bohemia-trip.com or Viator. The long ride was very silent. The Tour Car was in terrible driving conditions and at one point while buckling my seat belt,I noticed, through the gaps of the buckling process, a rusted out bottom of car. I could see the street pavement! Tour guide mentioned this was not the Driver's car, it was his friend's Car. The Lunch offered was ok,but Restaurant Service was rude and slow. Since my husband and I were not capable to take a tour of the Karlstejn Caves,he offered us the Glassmaking factory. This was good. The Castle tour was presented by another Guide of the Castle. This was good. But the rest of the almost 7 hours was not good. I will ask your company, Viator for a partial refund. You might note I have used your Company on other occasions, very disappointed in you and Trip Advisor to whom I'm a member.
