Well this tour was brilliant, although it was raining it did not matter as our tour guide, Alex made it special. The walk was more then expected but we managed it to be greeted with a lovely meal at the top. Due to the rain and fog the views were not brilliant but it just gives us an excuse to go back and again and book another tour with Alex.
This tour was amazing!
This was such a great experience to go off-the-beaten path in Prague! My boyfriend and I visited in early April and wanted to escape the city a bit. Alex picked us up from our AirBnB promptly in the morning. We drove to Dresdin and he gave us a quick tour through the city, before all the tourists flooded in. Then, we headed to the national park, which was gorgeous. I would highly recommend this private tour!
Ales was very accommodating to our requests to change the itinerary. We really enjoyed the hike in Bohemian Switzerland to see Pravčicka and getting to see Dresden, if even just for a little bit, was another highlight. The restaurant in Bohemian Switzerland was excellent, and some of the best food we had in Czechoslovakia.
Ales was a wonderful tour guide - he lives in the district right beside the National Park, so he has expertise and familiarity with the region that other guides don't have. He's very knowledgeable, but gives you lots of quiet time to explore and process on your own. If you enjoy natural beauty and seeing something that is unique, I highly recommend this trip.
