It was a good experience. The bus was available and on time. However, we didnt know they had another pick up point which coincidentally was just opposite our hotel. We had a bit of difficulty finding our way to the location. Novices using google maps! The bus was adequate. The boat was nice - not opulent, but nice. The food was sufficient, despite there being a few different groups on the boat. live music was well done a singer and a guitar. The views from the top deck was very nice, though it was freezing cold. Generally a nice experience, but not spectacular as one would have hoped.

The van that picked us up was old, dirty and late. The guide boarded the van about half way to the boat and matched the van. She attempted to describe sights we were going by but the van made so much noise we couldn't hear. When we got to the river we had to wait on the boat to arrive and when it did it was awful. Very dilapidated and dirty. The food was edible but poorly presented. The guide gave very little description of the sights and was grumpy when we asked about it. A really bad experience all around.

Travelling with a 2 year old and it was ideal. Buffet had a good selection even through the soup was a bit on the cold side. Entertainment was ok not great but ok. Views etc great. Our tour guide was great.

Good experience, well organised. The food was ok, nothing to get very excited about . The lights of Prague were beautiful.

Not their fault that the night we took this cruise rained. The staff closed all the windows and doors to the dinning room, there must have been 100 passengers inside this closed area. Extremely humid and suffocating. Big lines to get your meal, by the time my husband got to the line they had run out of ham. He had a couple of pieces of chicken. Eventually it stopped raining and the doors were opened for ventilation. We ate fast and went to the upstairs area for air. The only boat without a Cover in the upstairs area was ours! The River had a multitude of other Dinner River Cruises, all other ships that passed by us had some type of rain cover. All of the upstairs chairs and tables were soaked in rain! Since there were so many Dinner River Cruises, our ship ended up having to wait @ 45 minutes in a Lock. The Vltava River isn't like other rivers that we've traveled in, it was unusual because it has locks like the Panama Canal, where you wait your turn like a very long stop light. We decided to go downstairs and see what was available for dessert. We were too late for dessert too. There were crumbs only. It could have been a much better experience and use of our time if we had had a cover in the upstairs area. I tried getting paper napkins from the staff to dry our chairs, they didn't understand, or acted like they didn't understand. The staff was unfriendly, all they wanted was to finish this shift, so that they could get ready for the 2nd shift of customers later. A lot of us ended up trying to dry up our chairs with toilet paper, that didn't work very well. The views ended up affected first by the rain, and later by the sprinkling and dry chairs upstairs. Eating at a River Restaurant would have been less expensive and more enjoyable and with better views than we saw.
