The De Wildt Cheetah and Wildlife Centre, also known as Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre is a captive breeding facility for South African cheetahs and other endangered animals that is situated in the foothills of the Magaliesberg mountain range in the North West Province of South Africa , approximately an hours drive from Johannesburg

The Cheetah Centre in South Africa was established in 1971, initially as a cheetah breeding project and the Centre has during the past 40 years bred over 800 cheetah cubs. Various conservation projects have been initiated since its inception which also inlcudes a successful African wild dog breeding programme. Known in the past as the De Wildt Cheetah Centre the name has recently been changed to the Ann van Dyk Cheetah Centre as a tribute to the woman who has devoted her life to the survival of the cheetahs as well as other rare and endangered species

Pick up from your hotel or O.R Thambo International airport at 7:00 , by your Full time FGASA and DEAT registered guide who will accompany you throughout the day.

Enjoy the drive to The Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Center through a beautiful area called Hartbeespoort.

Join a open vehicle for a game drive where we will get close to the worlds fastest land mammal the Cheetah, Wild dogs, Caracal, Serval and other endangered wildlife species.

You have the opportunity to Adopt your choice of one of these amazing creatures to help with the medical bills and food supply.

Afterwards enjoy lunch and a refreshment in Hartbeespoort, with your guide before making your way back to your drop-off point.
