Padi Discover Scuba Diving Experience is the quickest and easiest way to an introduction to explore the underwater world of Protaras Cyprus.
Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater?
Well If you want to try scuba the Padi Discover Scuba Diving is for you!
There is nothing like the feeling of being able to breathe underwater and move like a fish. In very little time with Easy Divers Cyprus you will have your scuba diving experience in the sea at a local dive site in Protaras, Cyprus.
To sign up for a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience, you must be at least 10 years old. No prior experience with scuba diving is necessary, but you need to be in reasonable physical health.
If you are not yet 10 years old, you could try another scuba experience Padi Bubblemaker.
To make your Padi Discover Scuba Dive, you must be:
• 10 years of age
• Good Health
• Completed Medical Statement (this can also be done when you arrive)
What will you learn
To go diving you need to understand basic safety guidelines during your briefing and skills needed to dive under the direct supervision of a PADI Professional. You’ll practice a few skills in shallow water, around 1 meter deep to prepare for your scuba adventure.
Things that you’ll do during your first scuba dive:
• What’s it’s like to breathe underwater
• How to adjust and use scuba diving equipment
• How to equalise your ears way
• How to use your diving mask
• Show correct hand signals while diving
• Have fun swimming around and exploring.
During your Padi Discover Scuba Diving, we will be monitoring you and your equipment, showing you all kinds of cool fishes, marine life even turtles too! You will always be closely supervised by your Padi professional, so they can lend assistance when necessary.
After your Padi Discover Scuba Dive, you will not be a certified diver But, you will be able to go on other cool dives up to 12 meters.
Padi Discover Scuba is not classed as an actual scuba diving certification, it will give you a great taste of what scuba and the underwater world. Scuba Diving will open your eyes to new possibilities and to appreciate how much fun in scuba diving.
A good thing to know is that your Padi Discover Scuba Dive can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Course, meaning you can start straight away and become Certified Padi!! By completing the certain skills in your shallow water skill session, they can be credited towards the Open Water course confined session.

- A minimum of 2 people per booking is required
- Diving within 24 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
- Subject to favourable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund
