Livingston, 7 Altars Cascades and Las Velas beach tour

Board your fiberglass boat to ride along the shoreline for 30 minutes towards Livingston. Enjoy the subtropical forest that meets the edge of the beach and see pelicans, knights, seagulls and other species of birds. Then, stop at the Posada El Delfn to sample exotic fruits of the season, pickup bottled water and use the restrooms. Continue 15 more minutes and start enjoying the beaches, which are an easy walk to Seven Altars Waterfalls. From the beaches is a 5 minute walk to 7 Altars Cascades. The 7 Altars is a natural complex where 7 pools are formed, and some are even deep enough to swim. On the way back to the terminal, there is a short stop to Livingston for some down time and a short city tour to see this Garifuna town. You can even buy some souvenirs at the flea market or general stores. Then, board your transportation and back to the ship.
