You will visit the beautiful Manialtepec Lagoon, an extraordinary ecosystem home of exotic vegetation and wild life, that is located a 18 kilometers from Puerto Escondido. This guided tour includes round transportation from the comfort of your hotel in Puerto Escondido.

There you will board a boat that will take you to live a unique experience discovering the secrets of the lagoon. Admire the mangrove islands and its abundant wildlife like hundreds of species of fish and birds both endemic and migratory from the United States and Canada. Walk across the shore and take swim inside the waters to observe one of the most amazing phenomena of nature: Bioluminescence.

There are few places in the world where you can see this natural wonder! Swim in the lagoon while the water start glowing when you make contact with it. This phenomenon is called bioluminescence and the effect is caused by millions of micro-organisms, also known as planktons.

Have fun in the water while shining thanks to these living things.
