3-Day Escape in Puerto Princesa City

Your 3-day escape in Puerto Princesa starts the moment you arrive at the newly-inaugurated Puerto Princesa Airport Terminal. A representative will meet you outside the arrival hall and bring you to your hotel. Check in time is usually at 2PM. Take note that hotels have different guest policies so, check on this before you arrive. You can spend the rest of your day snoozing on your comfortable bed or you can just roam around the city. 

On your second day, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast as you'll be heading to the Underground River. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is also known as the longest navigable underground river in the world - about 8.2 kilometers in total! You will be picked up from your hotel by our tour guide at around 7AM. 

The trip to the site is about 2 hours but it'll be filled with fun and wonder. As you go along, your tour guide will provide you information about the city and its people. You can also view the magnificent sea-to-mountain ecosystem of Puerto Princesa from your seats or from a view deck. 

Once you reach the wharf, you'll motorized boat that will take you to the mouth of the river. As noise is prohibited inside the cave, you shall be provided with an audio device. You will also have to transfer to a paddle boat that will take you to the tour proper. This will be about 45 to 60 minutes long. Lunch is included for on this tour so you'll get to experience FIlipino food from a local restaurant. Once everyone has eaten, you'll go back to the city-proper.

On your third day, you can still enjoy the facilities of your hotel. Check out time is usually 12NN. A representative shall bring you back to the airport for your departure. 

To maximize your stay, we encourage you to book a morning flight to Puerto Princesa CIty, before lunch time. On the other hand, your departure flight should be after 4PM. By doing this, you'll get the most out of your escape in this serene City.
