confirmed pick up night before...guide showed up 40 minutes early while I was having breakfast....minivan was packed with not 1 empty seat and hardly any legroom...everyone was very uncomfortable for 2 hours each way.....next the wait for boat transport to caves was over an hour long so guide decided we should eat our lunch at 1030am......finally arrived at caves and had to wait another 45 minutes for a boat to go thru the caves......once in the caves it was beautiful, but the tour seemed very unorganized and overall I was disappointed the way they handled the travel logistics......

Suggestions: be careful who you subcontract with -I've had great tours with Viatour this one not so much. Was worried after 45 minutes that a driver wouldn't show up - their were 3 couples waiting for tours in the lobby he went to the desk and asked to call the room - they then came to me asked my room number. The 11 seat van had 9 and we picked up another couple. The driver talked on his sell phone much of the 2 hour trip and didn't talk to anyone. When we got to the beach we were told to stay together and wait for someone else who told us to wait, We were transferred by boat to the mouth of the cave and waited for another hour for the 30 minute paddle 2km into the cave and back. We tipped the boat paddler although he was difficult to understand while pointing out about 10 stallagmites that looked like something. Perhaps paying more gets a better tour.

This is the highlight of our tour in Palawan. God's creation and the wonder of nature is everywhere. Beautiful and green mountains everywhere. The ferry ride to the mouth of the underground river is fun. But going inside the underground river is unforgettable. Very quiet and has almost an eerie feeling but the rock formation is unbelievable. You can almost see any figure of your imagination. If you love nature and believe in God's creation, go see this place.

The underground river tour is a must see. The trip to and back is a little long but just enjoy the scenery.

Waiting time was abit long but that's typical for most tours. But.....it was so worth the wait. The experience was magical and so natural. We even saw some Macaques and Monitor Lizards roaming free which was great. People are always so helpful and friendly. The cave was phenomenal. Totally worth it!
