Multi-Day
About this activity
Day 1: Iguazu Transfer in + Half day Brazilian side of the falls

Upon arrival in Iguazu airport, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. The trip will begin at the Iguaçu National Park with a drive through the lush, subtropical vegetation of the park en route to the falls. Take a stroll on the trail that descends down the canyon, to offer panoramic views of more than 240 falls. Embark on the glass elevator up the cliff face for an exquisite view from the upper deck. The Iguassu National Park, along with its "sister" park in Argentina, form the most significant remaining rainforest in the southern corner of South America which along with the waterfalls, have been declared a National Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Overnight: 3-Star Iguazu hotel

Day 2: Iguazu Falls – Full-Day Argentine side of the falls (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel before you are picked up from your hotel. Leave for a full-day excursion to the Argentine side of the Iguazu Falls. The guide will lead you around several paths inside of the park, giving you many opportunities to enjoy the incredible views of the waterfalls. Come noon, you will have free time for lunch as well as the chance to take an optional navigation tour. On this tour, you will take a boat ride around and under the falls, getting wet along the way. In the afternoon, board the train that will bring you to the greatest fall in the park, Devil's Throat. Return to the hotel at the end of your day.

First the tour itself was very good on the Argentina side. We couldn't see the Brazil side because as US citizens we had to request a visa at least 48 hours in advance which we were NOT told. We ended up doing some other minor tour of a few other sites in Iguazu which was fine. Alien did everything she could to make things better since our first day of the trip was pre-empted by a cancelled LATAM flight.
