Itinerary

Day 1: Puerto Natales - Torres del Paine (DEPARTURES: TUESDAYS AND SATURDAYS)

Stop At: Puerto Natales, Natales, Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena Region, Chile
After arriving in Puerto Natales, you will head to the local office of our agency to join your group and start your adventure. At 2:30 you will board the bus that brings you to the starting point of your trek: the Torres del Paine National Park.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Torres del Paine National Park Chile
The bus ride takes roughly 90 minutes and brings you directly to the central sector. Here you will have time to settle down, take in a the beautiful view and strengthen yourselves with a good dinner before your trek starts the next day.

Day 2: Hike to Mirador Base Torres (Vantage point base)

Stop At: MIrador Las Torres, Torres del Paine National Park Chile
Difficulty: high - 19.5 KM
Start altitude: 120m / max: 870m

You will get up early and head to the Mirador Base Torres, one of the most popular treks in the Torres del Paine National Park. This path takes you through the Ascencio river valley until you reach a stretch of 3km that will lead you uphill to one of the most stunning viewpoints in Chile: the breath-taking panorama of the lakes and valleys of the Paso de los Vientos (Path of the Winds).

In the afternoon you will continue your trek to the Chilean Shelter, where you will pass through the lenga beech forest before arriving at La Morrena. Here, we are going to commence with the hardest stretch of the second day: a rocky path uphill to the Mirador base Torres. The fantastic view from the top, however, will be more than enough to compensate for the difficult climb. After taking in the majestic panorama of the Andes, you will descend back to the central sector. Here you will have dinner together and rest up for the next day.

Day 3: Hike Frances Sector

Stop At: Torres del Paine National Park Chile
Difficulty: medium - 13.5 KM
Accumulated altitude: 200m

On your third day the W trek will, on a stretch of 13.5km, lead you to some of the most impressive locations in the National Park, like the lake Nordenskjöld, the mountain Almirante Nieto and the Horns of the Paine, a collection of granite spires at an altitude of 2.000m. Here, you can enjoy the impressive views of lakes, glaciers and the diverse environment and wildlife of this region. Afterwards, you will descend back to the Sector Francés to have dinner together and rest.

Day 4: Hike Frances Valley

Stop At: Torres del Paine National Park Chile
Difficulty: high - 20.5 KM (8-10 hours).
Start altitude: 120m / max: 709m

Your journey for today continues along a smooth path to the Italian Camp and the route to the Francés Valley, the name giver for the trek. From here, you will begin your 2km uphill climb to the French River Valley.


Duration: 5 hours

Stop At: Torres del Paine National Park Chile
Along this route, you can enjoy the view on the majestic silhouettes of the mountains that encase the valley like the Paine Grande, Catedral, Hoja, Máscara, Espada, Aleta de Tiburón and the Cuerno Norte. After this impressive sightseeing trek, you will descend to the Paine Grande sector. Here, your stretch for the day will end with a well-deserved dinner and a relaxing rest.

Day 5: Hike Grey Glacier - Pehoe Lake navigation - Puerto Natales

Stop At: Glacier Grey, Puerto Natales Chile
Difficulty: high - 22 KM
Start altitude: 43m / max: 313m

The last path of your trek begins at the slopes of the Paine Grande, the highest point of the mountain range at more than 3.000m above the sea level. Its summit will allow you to take in a breath-taking view of its glaciers. Following the path between the mountains Ñirres, Coigües and Notros, you will arrive at the Lago Grey vantage point, from where you can view the imposing Grey glacier and its broken-away pieces floating on the lake. You will then continue along the path to Grey Shelter.
Duration: 9 hours

Pass By: Puerto Natales, Natales, Magallanes y la Antártica Chilena Region, Chile
In the afternoon, you will return to the Paine Grande sector, where you will board the catamaran that will bring you to Pudeto. Once you arrive at Pudeto, our bus will be waiting for you to take you back to Puerto Natales, where you will arrive around 9:30 PM.
