Istrian noTourist Wine Tour (from Pula)

After pick-up at your accommodation you start your noTourist Wine Tour. Istria is full of hills, valleys, bays, winds, different soils - a lot of different microclimates. Great variety of wines in a small area. First, you sit down for an Istrian Farm House lunch to get your stomach ready for the tour. Then 3 wineries are waiting for you to be discovered. Most of them are not that known because they don't have that marketing power as the "big guys". But they have excellent wines! Get to know Istria from "inside". The winery environments are laid-back. Don't expect this tour to be a "lecture" about wines. Think of it like a "get together" for people who like to enjoy fine wines while talking about them with local wine producers. You will learn about Istria's local grapes like Malvazija and Teran, but also about the local Cabernet's, Merlot's, and sometimes even about the more and more famous Istrian "Orange" or "Amber" Wines. No, they are not made of oranges (good god), but they have a deep yellow to orange colour because they are made in a special way. Come and join our Istria noTourist Wine Tour. You drink, we drive ;)
