2 Days Ajanta Ellora Cave tour from Pune with Transfer and Hotel

Day 01: Pune to Aurangabad by Road and Ellora Caves Sightseeing

 Get ready for your 5 hour journey to Aurangabad as we come to pick you up from your respected destination, either hotel or airport in Pune at 7 AM. Once you reach Aurangabad, we take you for a sightseeing tour to Ellora Caves that have 34 caves in total. These cave temples feature monuments and sculptures dedicated to various religious sects such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. The Kailash temple has a magnificent statue of Shiva and the sight of beautiful structure keeps you spellbound. At the end of the day we transfer you to the hotel in Aurangabad where you can relax and have a good night sleep.

 Day 02: Ajanta Caves Sightseeing and Pune Departure (B)

 The next day after breakfast you will check out from the hotel and move to your next destination in an air-conditioned vehicle. The Ajanta Caves came into existence between 200 BC and 650 AD. Carved into the mountain side the cave temples are known for housing some of the beautiful paintings made with herbal colors that depict the story of Buddhism and the Jatakas. Discovered by Captain John Smith in the year 1819, he was hunting a tiger in that area, but found this famous monument instead. From the vantage point across the river you will come across some lovely view of the surrounding. The day well spent finally comes to an end and after the sightseeing, you will proceed back to Pune and we would drop you at the hotel or airport in Pune.
