Lima- We stayed at the Hotel Antigua Mira Flores . Do not miss out on this hidden gem . The hotel is filled with beauty and the staff are friendly and helpful . The beds are comfortable and the breakfast was delicious They made sure are stay was magical . There is a restaurant by the name of La Traviata close by with the amazing food and waitstaff. PUERTO MALDONADO- We stayed at the CORTOMALTES which is a must. The staff are wonderful, accommodating and a delight to be around. We got to be apart of so many animal encounters( jaguar, anaconda, different kinds of monkeys and insects ) Our guide was very knowledgeable. The one thing I want everyone to be aware of is that you wear used mud boots so you need to have with you long socks to cover your legs. I got a rash which I call jungle rot( athletes foot to the legs) . Do not miss this part of the trip it was beyond amazing.CUSCO- Is beyond beautiful . We chose to stay at the Tika Wasi . They gave us a room with a view of the city and when we couldn't sleep because the beds where so uncomfortable they did change the mattress immediately for us. On Christmas eve night the whole town set off millions of fire works and from our view it was a sight i've never seen. The bad part about this hotel is that you hear the cars going bye all the time and the food is not that great as a matter of fact the only place we found with great food there was the Fallen Angel. The city walking tour was great but it is a long full day and we didn't have the kindest of guides . He rushed us and left us when we had questions on things. Viator and cultural Immersion did not mention that traveling around Christmas a lot of the chapels would be closed to the public. We spent three days of our trip in Cusco but I wish someone would have pointed out how beautiful Ollantaytambo was.We would have loved to stay a night there. We had little time to see anything and we didn't get to go explore the ruins there. The lunch they provided for us on the ride from Cusco to Ollantaytambo was out of this world and by far the best food we had our whole trip. MACHU PICCHUAguas Calientes -Beautiful and the weather was great the whole time. We stayed at the Ferre hotel -comfy beds and great food. They provided us with a room that looked out over the river. We had problems on our trip of not being met at our pick up spots. PUNO- Do not stay at LA HACIENDA PLAZA DE ARMAS as beautiful as it is its very noisy till 4am due to disco near by.TITICACA-Amazing.
