Kayaking on Lake Titicaca to Uros and Taquile Floating Islands

We begin this wonderful adventure from your hotel in Puno from where you will be transferred to the Esteves Island at 7:45 AM, where we will receive all instructions and all the necessary professional kayaking equipment, then we will go sailing on our kayaks towards the Uros floating island, paddling for approximately 1 hour.

At all times we will be accompanied by a professional instructor and a motorized boat for support.

During the journey we will appreciate the biodiversity of Lake Titicaca (Flora and Fauna), we will see the totora reed that is the raw material of the existence of Uros floating islands, also rocky islands and enjoy the most beautiful views of the lake Titicaca. Finally we arrive at the Uros, where the local people will give us a warm welcome and our guide will give us a full explanation its fascinating Culture.

After this we will take a motor boat to Taquile island famous to be declared by UNESCO as "Cultural Heritage of humanity" where we will enjoy a lunch whereafter we will learn about their customs and textiles. Meanwhile we can appreciate all the beauty of the sacred lake of the Incas. We return to Puno around 4:45 pm.
