Uros Floating Island Tour

On this tour you will have the option of deciding whether to do it in the morning or in the afternoon. Depending on the schedule you choose we will pick you up from your hotel around 8:45 am or 12pm to leave the port of Puno about 45 minutes later. After 30 minutes by boat we will reach the islands of the Uros, ancient village formed of small islands made of totora with small houses also made of totora, where we will visit 2 of these copies each for about 30 minutes. Here we can appreciate the traditional craftsmanship and customs of these communities based on hunting, weaving and aquatic life with the joint explanation between our guide and the local family. In this adventure you will even have the option of taking a ride on the typical totora boats used in this area. After 3 hours of the tour we will return to the port of Puno, from where we will transfer you back to your hotel.
