Ecological Reserve Segway Private Tour from Punta Cana

Round-trip transportation is arranged from your hotel to the lush tropical grounds of the Segway base camp in Punta Cana where you will be welcomed with a cool beverage and prepped on the ways and means of handling a Segway safely- Never ridden before? No sweat! One of our guides will give you a briefieng about how to ride de Segway and the main rules of the tour, we will give you your Segways and before we leave you will get to practise at the practise circuit area. Within a couple of minutes you will feel confortable and ready to go!

Before you know it you’ll be winding through the park’s rustic paths utterly immersed in the tropical haven of lush fauna, birds, reptiles, and the cool underbrush of the reserve. Coming out of the woods, you’ll pass by La Cana Golf Course, designed by P.B. Dye. This course is a favorite of golfers from all over the world, and it is logistically aligned with the Puntacana Resort and Clubs’ efforts to be as environmentally friendly as possible. La Cana Golf Club is the first course in the Caribbean to use paspalum, a grass seed that can be watered using seawater. 

Next you will pass through the private enclave within Puntacana Resort and Club called Tortuga Bay, which boasts thirteen luxury beachfront villas and boutique hotel designed by the famously talented Oscar de la Renta.

We will visit La Choza Beach where you can revel in the white crystal sand and turquoise water so typical of the Caribbean. This will be our first stop. Take some minutes to swim in this amazingly beautiful beach, relax, breath clean air, take some nice pictures,... Ok, time is over. We will get back on the Segway and continue with the tour.

 Our second stop will be the ranch, where you will meet our beautiul horses and also we will show you a typical house, where we will explain you the history of Punta Cana, which is really interesting! When we finish here we will get back on the Segway to the third stop: the iguanas. We will stop for some minutes, we will teach you about this interesting animal and why we protect them.

 Back again on the Segway, our fourth stop will be at our base (where we started the tour), where we will leave the Segway and walk for 6-7 minutes inside the Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve. You will be amazed with the beauty of Inriri: a crystal-clean fresh water lagoon. You MUST take a long dip here, will feel so clean and refreshed that you will squeak!

When you are done with the swimming we get back to the base, and there we will say goodbye to you and thank you for coming! We will drive you back to the hotel and... see you soon!
