Qingdao (or Tsingtao) Beer Museum is located in East of ChuShuiShan Children's Park and south of Taidong on Qingdao Beer Street. The brewery is a Western-style factory built in 1903 by the Germans during the occupation. This building is one of the few Gothic constructions in Qingdao, and inside you can admire historic photographs related to the beer factory, cultural relics and samples of Qingdao beer kept from different eras.
The museum keeps four huge copper brewing vessels manufactured in Germany that were in use until 1995. Several of the historical objects in the Qingdao Beer Museum were donated by the descendants of both German and Japanese staff. At this museum you can learn about the beer brewing process and identify all the ingredient. You can also see life-size replica sculptures of staff in their original workplace. The museum offers a beer-tasting and a shop where you can buy Qingdao beer and related souvenirs.
