Guided Gourmet Scooter Tour on Ile d'Orleans

We meet our local tour guide at the Motel Ile d'Orleans, close to the island's bridge. Upon arrival, we'll get a detailed safety introduction and we may try our scooters on the parking lot.

These scooters are automatic, no need to shift manually. They offer maximal comfort for the driver and even space for a passenger (minimum age 8 years) Participation in this tours is recommended only for those with scooter or motorcycle driving experience.

Once we are ready, our small group follows the guide on the road. Our tour will take about 3 hours.

Our first stop is the Museum of Felix Leclerc, a tribute to this Quebecer artist and influencer. Our guide will underline his important role in history. You are very welcome to ask questions.

Afterwards, we are invited at the Monna farm, a great example for the agrotourism on Ile d'Orleans. Here, Black Currant is transformed into jam, mustard and liquor. We'll have a taste of their original products and a look at the production back in the barn.

We'll cross the island on a less traveled paved street, surrounded by forests and meadows, before reaching the island's most beautiful village. At the chocolaterie we'll take a break from driving and stroll on the river's banks, enjoying the fantastic view on Quebec City and some home-made chocolate.

On our way back we stop over at the boutique Café Smith, a young and flourishing Quebecer company overlooking the Montmorency waterfalls. Take plenty of fabulous pictures! 

Upon return at the Motel Ile d'Orleans, you may sit and relax on the sunny terrace, enjoying a local beer and a light meal (optional), before leaving beautiful Ile d'Orleans with long lasting memories of a fun and active day!
