Magnificent! It was out of a story book to tour and Sophie was a very friendly and informative guide.

This was a once in a life time experience. The Ice Hotel construction begins in January and the last section is finished by the 1st week in February. This takes place every year around the winter months. There is limited time to visit this hotel because when warmer weather comes it will melt away. We experienced this magical structure at dusk. The colors from the sun setting were breath taking. Once the sun set and the property was dark the Ice Hotel exploded with color. I was in awe. Our tour guide Pierre was so informative. He has been a guide at the Ice Hotel for over 20 years. I am so happy our family took this tour. It was one of the best experiences we had while visiting family in Quebec City. It is very cold when touring so make sure you dress warmly.
