We visited at the beginning of March and the weather was pretty good. The tour guides were great. They provided all the equipment needed and looked out for our safety!
This tour is SO MUCH FUN!! It was cold and rainy when we ended up going but we didn't even care. The sights are beautiful and they make sure you have a good time. Lunch was good but if you're looking for something warm and filling you might be disappointed. It's part of the experience, so just have fun with it!
Although a bit expensive this experience is worth every penny. The logistics for this trip is amazing. Never felt unsafe or in jeopardy as these guys really know what they are doing. The jetboat ride is quite entertaining. If you want to get wet go to the back of the boat. The funyak was another amazing experience although it could be challenging for some. Lunch provided was also very good: picnic style with sandwiches, fruits, pastry and hot beverages. We enjoyed a windy and chilly day which kept the insatiable sand flies at bay but whenever wind stopped they were really a nuisance. They bite so wear bug repellent. If I go back to Queenstown I will take this tour again.
Amazing Scenery you can't miss it!! MUST do at Queenstown.
