About this activity

Our complimentary shuttle service can pick you up in central Queenstown or make your own way to our base where you will find free parking.
After check in your pilot will take you through a short safety briefing before boarding the helicopter.
Depart Queenstown and fly west towards Milford Sound with vast areas of native forest and alpine High country farmland, into the Fiordland National park we are surrounded by numerous hidden valleys, waterfalls and alpine lakes before landing at Milford Sound. Take a 10minute walk or short bus ride to the visitor Boat Terminal where your pilot will check you in for your boat cruise.
Enjoy an informative cruise on the Sound, getting up close to the waterfalls and towering mountains. Keep your eyes open for a sighting of the local seals, penguins & dolphins who are known are known to frequent the area.
Upon returning to the boat terminal your pilot will meet you and escort you back to your helicopter for the return journey, leave the wonders of Fiordland behind for towering mountains of the Southern Alps. See ice shelves, glaciers and snow capped peaks and stop for a short 10-15minute landing with incredible photo opportunities.
From the mountain landing take a short flight back to Queenstown Airport where our shuttle can return you to central Queenstown.
