From the gondola base, located within 10 minutes’ walk from downtown Queenstown, take the gondola to the main Skyline complex and surround yourself with 220- degree views of mountain vistas and the sparkling lake and city below. Once you reach the top, choose from two luge options – the advanced track or the scenic track.
The two luge tracks wind downhill and end beside the main Skyline building. From here, a two-seated complimentary gondola ride will take you back to the start zone for your next luge ride.
The advanced track boasts a steeper gradient, higher speeds, banking corners, tunnels and more. The scenic track is designed specifically to provide an exciting experience while allowing you to appreciate the scenery around you. Both provide the utmost safety features and allow you complete control. Switch between the advanced and scenic tracks, or stick to the one track the whole time. - Infant will be charged NZD$2.00 to ride the luge with an adult. Pay upon arrival

- Confirmation will be received at time of booking
- An onsite payment of NZD $2 per ride applies to all children riding with an Adult on the Luge. This can be paid for on arrival to Skyline Queenstown
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

The tickets were printed online. But please go to store across from Ferburger before going to location. The line was massive, hours at min. To turn printed voucher into admission ticket. Once we walked down n back up, it was the best time ever! Billy goats on mtn going up, food was good, ride on lift was beyond stunning, and luge was so fun n fast!!!
This tour was amazing!
The gondola ride allows for some beautiful views of Queenstown. Even though dusk was approaching, we were able to get some great photos from the patio at the top. It was my first experience on a luge and I was glad that I had five opportunities to practice. I really think there should be three tracks, not two. Track 1 should be for first timers and less experienced riders, track 2 should be for those ready for more challenges and track 3 should be for those who know how to ride. Riders should be reminded to not block the middle of the path so that others can pass safely.
