Queenstown Trail Highlight Self Guided Bike Ride includes Queenstown Transfers

You will be collected at 9am from your Queenstown accommodation and take the scenic drive to historic Arrowtown. Your experienced local driver will keep you entertained with stories and answer any questions you have about the region. You will receive comprehensive trail briefing before being fitted with a premium bike, helmet and trail map. You will have the freedom to explore so we will discuss trail options and points of interest to visit during your ride all suited to your fitness and riding experience. You will have time to explore historic Arrowtown and its amazing shops before heading off along the spectacular Arrow River Bridges Trail. 
Following this fantastic cycle trail you meander beside two rivers, cross amazing bridges, past historic cottages and bike through scenic farmland with mountain views until you arrive at the historic Kawarau (Bungy) Bridge build in 1880. Take time to view the bungy jumpers as they leap into thin air. From here you can choose to be collected by our shuttle, or if there is time explore and experience the best local wine tasting in the Gibbston wine region. Alternatively you can return to Arrowtown by bike along the stunning Twin Rivers Trail and Lake Hayes Circuit (good fitness required additional 21 kilometres). Lake Hayes is a popular swimming spot so don’t be shy to plunge in the refreshing alpine water before heading back to our Arrowtown base to catch your return transport to Queenstown. The distance and sights you take in will depend on your fitness and the distance you cover. That’s the great thing about a self guided ride, you set the pace! 
Don’t panic if you run out of puff during your ride, we will discuss pickup locations should you need our Rider Rescue Shuttle!
Ride distance starts from 12 kilometers. Ride time approximately from 1.5 - 2 hours, with a maximum ride time of 3 hours.
 Our bikes are designed so riders of all skill levels can enjoy an adventure in the great outdoors. Adult, youth and 24" bikes have light alloy frames to create the perfect platform for riders to enjoy a scenic ride. A range of sizes ensure your ride to be a relaxed and comfortable day out.
