Beautiful tour of the mangroves! The guide was professional and a good naturalist. This is not a tour for birders to see tons of birds. Interesting history and immersion on the Mangrove forests and their impacts on the area. The boat had poor access for boarding, the company needs to figure out a way to have steps available not a broken concrete block...

Maria was our guide. She was knowledgeble and professional. The tour includes lunch that was served family style and was typical Costa Rican. We saw a bunch of Cappacino monkeys close up. In fact, they got on top of the boat's roof. We saw lots of birds and some bats. We learned a lot about the history of Costa Rica in general and particular to this area. Boat was comfortable and safe and they provided bottled water. Mosquitos were not a problem. Driver was a great navigator and got us close to animals. No flash photography allowed.
