My wife and I were totally gratified and impressed by this experience. Our guide, Maria Teresa, was attentive to our interests and went the extra mile to assure we saw every animal available to be seen. The resulting pictures and even a sloth video, yes he was moving, have impressed all our friends upon our return home. We highly recommend this tour. And it is not a difficult walk.

This tour was very enjoyable. The park was fairly crowded--definitely select the earliest tour for the day if you can. You'll also see more things early in the morning. The many park guides all share information with each other, so your guide will find out if another guide sees something very interesting. The quick swim on the beach was worth the effort, but either give yourself enough time to change, or be prepared to walk back with sand in your shorts. At the gate, you are advised not to bring chips or snacks into the park--there are raccoons that walk the beach inspecting your bags while you swim. The tour company had drinks and fresh fruit snacks for us after we left the park, and returned us to our hotels.

We were a bit disappointed with this tour. The guide was great but lineups were long in the sun, it was very crowded with everyone trying to see the same animals or I insects and there is not much at this park other than a nice beach. It was probably the tour we liked the least of our trip.

The day we went, Manuel Antonio National Park, a small forrest, was bubbling with people. But thanks to our guide, our trip was awesome as we were able to view several monkeys, sloths, frogs and lizards and spent a good hour at the beach. The 2nd beach which was close to the 1st one was much better but had no changing facility. Other than the main trail, the other trails Sendero La Catarata trail and Punta Catedral were not worth it. Punta Catedral was really tiring, with not much wild life other than view points, which is visible from the 2nd beach. There was construction in process to formalize the main trail - as the main trail is bit rocky. Certainly worth a visit.

Tour guides were nice, and they looked for wildlife for the group. The only complaint was they seem disinterested and didnt share any knowledge other than when asked certain questions. Tour was a good length and we were able to see monkeys by the beach close up. Fruit at the end was a nice touch. Hiking is maybe the wrong word as all walking is along a manmade walkway or road.

Great tour! Great guides. The Sloths are amazing. We saw one through a telescope way up on a very tall tree. As well, I saw an army of aunts taking leaves along a path... Monkeys, birds, a beautiful beach - this tour offers a great way to see the park.
