About this activity
ITINERARY
This tour lets you and your family (kids 5+) enjoy the fantastic landscape while riding some exciting rapids and then floating down the Savegre River. After picking you up at your hotel, we’ll head south from Quepos on a 1.5-hour drive through oil palm plantations, teak reforestation projects and incredible scenery to the Savegre River put-in.
After a safety orientation, we’ll start maneuvering through rapids such as Welcome, Rita, Piñata, Devil’s Mouth, Rollercoaster, Gringo Eater, and Santo Domingo among others. The river eventually tames down to gentle riffles. We’ll have a refreshing snack with fresh fruit and crackers by the Savegre River take-out. A 35-minute drive takes you back to Quepos and then your hotel.
