Itinerary

Day 1: DAY 1 OTAVALO MARKET

Stop At: Otavalo Market, Plaza de los Ponchos, Otavalo 100450 Ecuador
In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel or at the airport to start your tour. Along the Pananamerica Highway through astonishing sceneries, full of mountains, green areas, lakes and small and amazing towns. Visit the Otavalo Indian Market, a regular gathering place, very important for the communities, a place to socialize and share.
This colorful local market is very famous for the stoning number of handicrafts that you can find there: textiles, jewelry, woodcarvings, carpets, ponchos, scarves and many more….

In the evening you will reach our hotel in Imababura.

Day 2: CAYAMBE VOLCANO

Stop At: Volcan Cayambe, Cayambe Ecuador
Today we will focus totally on our trip to the snowcapped Cayambe. This volcano is the third highest in Ecuador. The surrounding area is part of a natural reserve, to protected endangered species like the bear. A range diversity of flora and fauna can be found, 900 species of birds, 110 species of amphibians, 140 of reptiles and more than 200 mammals. In the late afternoon, you will check in our the second accommodation.

Day 3: TABACUNDO PLANTATION

Stop At: Lagunas de Mojanda, Via a Mojanda, Tabacundo 170450 Ecuador
Early in the morning, you will visit Lagunas de Mojanda where you perform a soft trekking. Lunch included. In the afternoon, heading to a roses plantation of Tabacundo. Here the best roses of the world are breeded. You will get a guided tour and learn about the process of premises. A closer look allows you to understand the cultivating of these beautiful flowers. On you way back to Quito, you get the option for a pit stop to enjoy some traditional sweets, our famous bizochos. The tour will end in Quito.
