Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Quito and transfer to hotel

Pass By: Aeropuerto Internacional Mariscal Sucre, Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Quito Tababela S/N - Via, Quito 170907, Ecuador
Arrival to Quito Ariport. Pick up from the airport by our guide who will transfer to your hotel of stay in Quito (90 min approx).

Day 2: Quito City Tour & Equatorial Monument Day Trip (B)

Pass By: Middle of the World, Manuel Cordova Galarza, Quito, Ecuador
Start by visiting the historic center of the city. Take a walk in San Francisco Square and its church, the Independence Square and the main Cathedral, Presidential Palace, El Sagrario Church, and one of the best examples of the baroque movement in South America, the iconic church La Compañía de Jesus. After this enriching historic visit, we continue driving north 15 Km. from Quito towards the Middle of the World. On the small citadel, we will visit the Middle of the World. Afterwards, visit the Inti Ñan Museum, a scientific and cultural museum located in the actual location of the Equator Line. We will hit the road again towards Volcan Pululahua view point before heading back to the city and your hotel of stay.

Day 3: Day 3: From Baltra to Isabela Island (L) (D)

Pass By: Aeropuerto Internacional Mariscal Sucre, Nuevo Aeropuerto Internacional de Quito Tababela S/N - Via, Quito 170907, Ecuador
Pick up form your hotel in Quito and transfer to the Airport to catch your flight to Galapagos. A guide will be waiting at the airport in Baltra to then head to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island. Afterwards, you'll take the public speedboat to Isabela Island around 2pm (2.5-hour ride ). After arriving in Isabela Island, take a brief rest at the hotel and then head to the Flamingo Lagoon, the largest coastal lagoon and one of the main reproductive sites for flamingos in Galápagos.

Day 4: Isabela Island (B) (L) (D)

Pass By: Seymour Airport, Baltra Airport Rd, Baltra, Ecuador
Early in the morning, head for a full day tour of Sierra Negra Volcano. This is the world’s second largest volcanic crater. Hike the crater and enjoy the view before continuing to Volcan Chico, a still active volcano which warms the surrounding grounds. (Box lunch will be provided). Spend the afternoon snorkeling in Concha Perla with sea lions, colorful varieties of fish and sea turtles (snorkeling equipment is included: tube, mask, fins).

Day 5: Santa Cruz Island (B) (L) (D)

Pass By: Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador
Early in the morning (6am), take the public speedboat from Isabela to Puerto Ayora, where the guide will be waiting. Check in at the hotel and immediately begin the visit to the Highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Enjoy a visit to see giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Return to Puerto Ayora and in the afternoon head to the Charles Darwin Research Station and observe colorful land iguanas and a large variety of Galápagos Giant tortoises brought from the most important islands in the archipelago.

Day 6: Transfer Out Baltra Airport – Transfer to Hotel in Quito (B)

Pass By: Santa Cruz Island, Ecuador
Transfer to Baltra Airport. On the way out, stop by “The Twins” (a.k.a. “The Gemelos”). Tour ends upon the arrival to the airport to catch plane to Quito. The guide will pick you up at Quito Airport and take you to the hotel.

Day 7: Transfer Out to Quito Airport

Depending on your departure time of your international flights, you will be picked you up from your hotel to Quito Airport.

  • IMPORTANT NOTE 2: Hotel check-in time for this tour will start at 2:00 am (14h00) on Day 1 in Quito. The tour ends at 11:30 am (the hotel check-out time) on Day 7. In case you arrive earlier or leave later that this times, you will probably need a extra night at the hotel in Quito, unless you have any other arrangements. Let us know ASAP so we can reserve an extra night if needed.
  • NOTE: Please, make sure you book an early flight of arrival to Baltra Airport in Galapagos on Day 1 (before 11 am) in order to follow the order of the displayed itinerary.
  • However, if you must book a late flight (later that 11:30 am), please let us know as soon as possible (preferably at the time of reservation of the tour). We will need to modify the order of the activities in the itinerary.
  • In either case, make sure you also pick a late flight for your return on the last day of the tour (departing later than 12:30 pm)
  • Vegetarian option is available, please advise at time of booking if required
  • Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
  • Please take into account that air tickets to Galapagos MUST be purchased arriving and departing to/from Baltra Airport - Galapagos.
  • Itinerary subject to change due to Galapagos National Park dispositions or to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure) - no refunds will be applicable in these cases
  • Note: The tour is not private. Accommodations are private, but the guided activities will be shared with other travelers.

  • Hotel Selection:
  • The hotel selection depends on the category of hotel that you choose (Tour Options). Once you choose the hotel class of preference, we will specify to you which hotels (belonging to the class chosen) are available for the dates of your trip. Hotels are categorized in the following classes: Economic Class, Tourist Class, Tourist Superior Class and First Class. All the hotels have been carefully chosen by us after close inspection.
  • Restaurants in Galapagos
  • This also depends on the chosen hotel class, as not all hotels have restaurant services. Meals are served in the “meal of the day” style; however, if you choose First Class hotels you will have more variety and gourmet-style meals. By patronizing local restaurants we contribute to the local economy and support sustainable tourism.
  • Guides in Galapagos
  • Guides will accompany you throughout all excursions and visits. They will not go with you on the speedboats between islands either. Guides are certified by the Galapagos National Park - if you feel that their guidance does not meet your expectations, feel free to leave a complaint at the National Park Direction to help improve the quality of service in the islands.
  • Public Speedboats
  • It is recommended that you take a seasickness pill if you are sensitive to sea-sickness before each ride between islands. It is also recommended that you carry on small plastic bags in case of seasickness.
  • Not recommended for travelers with back problems
  • Not recommended for pregnant travelers
  • No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
  • Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level

absolutely amazing natural experience in the Galapagos. The hotel is nice but with very limited internet. The speedboat rides to St. Isbella Island may require taking motion-sickness medicines, very bumpy rides both direction for 2 and half hours. The tour in Quito was great but hotel is a bit old.
