ALL INCLUSIVE MIDDLE OF THE WORLD, CABLE CAR AND QUITO CITY TOUR

We start the most complete city tour of Quito at 8:15 a.m. from our meeting point located at the “Food Garden La Pradera” (Av. República and La Pradera St., in front of the “Movistar” building)!, We start driving up north west of Quito to head the famous Intiñan museum, geographically located at 0 degrees, 0 minutes and 0 seconds, that marks the division between northern and southern hemisphere as established by French Geodesic Mission in the eighteenth century, we will see beautiful displays of different ethnic groups in Ecuador, plus the story of their lifestyles, explained by a specialist guide! This is an opportunity to be photographed with your feet on the northern and southern hemispheres at the same time!! Before we go to the old town, we will take a ride on the cable car, which is located in the Pichincha volcano, in an area of 160 hectares. The ride takes 15 minutes per way, starting at a height of 9,990 feet (3.045 meters) up until 13,450 feet above sea level (4.100 meters) at the top! We’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the eastern valleys, old town, south and north of Quito. A very tasty lunch will be awaiting for us, there we will have time to rest and relax…!

In the afternoon we go to the historical center of Quito, and during our walk, we will pass through the Independence Square, scene of many dramatic battles of revolution in the history of the Republic of Ecuador. We will have the opportunity to see the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s palace, the Church of the Society of Jesus of Quito, summit of the Latin America Baroque, the charming neighborhood of La Ronda, and the Church and Convent of San Francisco, built in 1540. We’ll finish approximately at 17h00, after having enjoyed the most complete sightseeing experience in the capital city of Ecuador!
