About this activity

Your tour begins with hotel pickup in Quito. Meet your guide and board a vehicle to head to the hacienda (ranch) which is located about 1.5 hours south of Quito. Once there, you will begin your wonderful horseback riding adventure.

Recieve all equipment and a briefing and start riding around the Cotopaxi, inside the national park. Your ride will last 3 hours and you'll be able admire the volcano as well as the beautiful surroundings of the Ecuadorian highlands. You may also be able to spot some wildlife such as wolves, eagles and various types of birds.

Head back to the hacienda and enjoy a delicious 3-course lunch. Then, enjoy some free time relaxing at the hacienda and exploring the property. In the evening, you will have dinner (not included) and spend the night at your leisure.

Next morning, have a delicious breakfast and start driving back to Quito where you'll be dropped-off at your hotel.

Keep in mind that climate at 4000 meters can change suddenly from sunny to cold with stormy winds and wet snow.
