Was a great day trip to an amazing destination. Good food for breakfast and lunch. Gerardo was an excellent guide and took care of the whole group. He was very encouraging on the hike and told us a lot of great information about Cotopaxi and the local culture. Be sure to dress warmly! It is very cold - I usually don't bring gloves or a hat to this type of thing but I wish I had them at Cotopaxi! Great day anyway though - would definitely do again.

Great tour! Recommend taking the day to hike Cotopaxi but only select the bike if you are confident. Trail is rugged.

This was an amazing tour. Our guide Omar showed us lots of volcanoes and presented lots of interesting information on the drive to Cotopaxi. The hike itself was really challenging. This is not easy. The visibility was close to zero and it was snowing on us as we climbed to the refuge. I appreciated the strenuous physical challenge, but it is not for everybody. I then rode my bike down the mountain to a lagoon. The unfavorable weather did not spoil it at all for me! I loved the view and the cool weather. It was a super experience and our guide Omar helped everyone along the way. Highly recommended!
