DAY 1

START your community adventure in Quito and

DRIVE towards the fertile valley of the volcanoes while enjoying the breathtaking landscape of the Andes.

STAND on the volcano that is furthest away from the center of the earth, the mighty Chimborazo Volcano.

HIKE to the first refuge of the volcano, surrounded by snow and volcanic rocks.

LEARN about its interesting history.

BE WELCOMED by your hosts in Guamote who will explain to you their community project and about the area.

Meals included: Snacks and dinner.

DAY 2

VISIT the Chanchan rural community and help a local family in their daily activities such as

MILKING the cows by hand and making cheese or

WORKING the land to harvest some organic vegetables.

PLAY with the kids of the local school, supported by the community project.

LEARN how the locals make alpaca scarves and ponchos by hand while visiting a workshop.

TASTE the local flavors in a local cooking class with organic products of the region.

Meals included: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

DAY 3

RELAX and explore the surroundings on your own.

TAKE beautiful pictures and memories of this small town in the heart of the Andes.

EMBARK on a trip to Guayaquil, Quito or Cuenca for your next adventure.
