Visit a small equator monument, entrance fee $2p.p
The Quitsato Sundial is a cultural-tourist place located at La Mitad Del Mundo, near to Cayambe, 47 km north of Quito. It was built in 2006 and inaugurated in 2007 as an independent, non-profit project in a 24,756 ft² (2300 m²) area. Its main goal is to share crucial aspects of the astronomical knowledge of the prehispanic cultures of the region. The expositions are carried out by community members as a self-sustaining project. According to Google Maps, the central pillar is 4 meters south of the true equator.
After this we will visit at the Cayambe bizcochos town (local biscuits) factory.

Viewing point “Mira Lago” where it is possible to see Cayambe, Imbabura, San Pablo Lake, Tabacundo and flower farms.

Stop At: Otavalo Market, Plaza de los Ponchos, Otavalo 100450 Ecuador
You will have time to explore the market and do some shooping
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Cotacachi-Cayapas Ecological Reserve, Esmeraldas region Ecuador
Visit Cotacachi leather town/ Lunch
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Cuicocha Lake, Laguna Cuicocha Ecuador
Here you will have time for a small walk after we return to Quito
Duration: 30 minutes
Pass By: Quito Old Town, Quito Ecuador
Return to Quito and drop you in your original meeting point.

I would not recommend it for any real traveler, unless you want to spend all day on a bus with short shopping spree. We had many short and longer stops at various shops/restaurants, where we could just buy something... We only spend 1 hour at the Otavalo market and ome 15 minutes at Laguna Cuicocha visitor center it was raining, but we even didn't get the option to walk a little- we had to continue to our next stop- lunch. The last stop at leather market for an hour didn't make any sense at all. The guide was nice and knowledgeable, but the trip is not worth the money.
