Private Full-Day Tour to Cotopaxi from Quito

We pick you up in the comfort of your hotel, in this tour you will discover the Cotopaxi Volcano as main attraction, in the morning we will visit one local Indigenous Market if there is an indigenous fair, in Pujilí on Wednesday and Sunday, in Saquisili on Thursday, but if you prefer the hiking we can go directly to Cotopaxi National Park.

Here there is also a museum Mariscal Sucre, there is a short hike where you can learn about fauna and flora species of this ecosystem.

In the National Park you can hike to the refuge José Rivas 4.864 masl. ( 15.958 feet ) Here inside the refuge you can have a snack or hot chocolate ( not included ) to recover energies. Remember our guide will be with you in all the moment, this trekking takes 1 hour to 1 hour and a half.

After the visit to the refuge, you will visit the Limpiopungo Lagoon under the Rumiñahui volcano, here you will find a flat path around the lagoon where you can observe some birds, and other volcanos like Sincholawa. This is a short hike.

It is recommendable that you bring with you some snacks, it is a full day inside the park.

It is important to bring warm clothes and raincoats, or extra clothes, weather conditions may change without advise.
