Day 1: Reykjavík - Þórsmörk
Stop At: Thorsmork, Suðurland, via road, Þórsmerkurvegur, Hvolsvöllur, Iceland
You will arrive in Þórsmörk valley at noon. After having lunch you will have the opportunity to explore this green oasis better.
Duration: 20 hours

Day 2: Þórmörk - Fimmvörðuháls
Stop At: Fimmvorduhals Hiking Trail, Skogar Iceland
Today you will leave Þórsmörk behind and start your hike over Fimmvörðuháls. The trail will take you along Kattahryggir ridges with an impressive view of the mountain Útigönguhöfði. You will then head to Morinsheiði plateau and see the newly formed lava that formed in the Fimmvörðuháls volcano in March and April 2010. You will keep on gaining hight and reach the craters Magni and Móði that erupted prior to the main Eyjafjallajökull crater.

Day 3: Fimmvörðuháls - Skógar - Reykjavík

You will start your descent down to Skógar, passing many hidden gorges and waterfalls on the way.
Duration: 6 hours
Stop At: Skogafoss, Skogar Iceland
The final waterfall on the Fimmvörðuháls trail is the famous Skógafoss.

- Both huts are heated and Þórsmörk hut has showers. They have dormitory with single and twin bunk beds, participants have to be prepared to share a bunk with other travelers from the group.
- The ride from BSÍ to Þórsmörk is not with a guide - the guide meets you in Þórsmörk along with part of the group.
- Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
