Your 3 day tour starts with a morning Reykjavik pick up. From the capital you will hit the Ring Road as you start making your way up towards Akureyri the capital of the North.
Duration: 30 minutes

Stop At: Borgarnes Regional Information Centre, Hyrnutorg, Borgarbraut 58-60, Borgarnes, Borgarbyggd 311 Iceland

Short rest-stop for snacks.

Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Grabrok Crater, Road 1 33 km north of Borgarnes, Bifrost, Borgarbyggd Iceland
Your first stop will be at the Grabrok volcanic crater that was formed in an eruption over three thousand years ago where you will start your day with a short hike around the area. The area around Grabrok is very impressive, filled with lava fields and two neighboring craters. The perfect way to start your North Iceland adventure.

Stop At: N1 - Staðarskáli, Iceland

We will make a stop by Staðarskáli for lunch.

Stop At: Hvitserkur, Road 711 Vatnsnesvegur, Vatnsnes Iceland
Next you will head to Hvitserkur basalt stack. Located in a stunning fjord, standing in the water, Hvitserkur is a sight not soon forgotten!

Now its time to add some flavor to your taste buds as you discover where the Icelandic Vikings got their power from with a visit to a famous local microbrewery for a short beer tasting tour before you make your way to Dalvik town where you will be spending the night.

Accommodation will be in Dalvík for the first night.

Stop At: Dimmuborgir Lava Formations, Lake Myvatn Iceland
Continuing to Dimmborgir lava fields. Home to massive lava rock sculptures, pillars and caves, Dimmuborgir will certainly leave you feeling as though you are on another planet.

Stop At: Godafoss, Akureyri Iceland
Your day starts with a drive to Godafoss waterfall named after the Norse gods.

Stop At: Lake Myvatn Iceland
After admiring its beauty you will make your way to Lake Myvatn surrounded by stunning volcanic landscape. See Skutustadagigar pseudo craters as you travel around the lake and drink in all that this most valuable protect nature reserve of Iceland has to offer

Stop At: Myvatn Nature Baths (Jardbodin vid Myvatn), Jardbadsholum, Lake Myvatn Iceland

Take a soak in the geothermal baths of Mývatn.

Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Stop At: Namaskard, hot springs, Iceland

We will explore one of Iceland’s most terrific geothermal fields, Námaskarð. The area is part of the Krafla volcano system and is highly active today.

Duration: 35 minutes

Stop At: Akureyri Tourist Information Centre, Strandgata 12, 600 Akureyri, Iceland

We will arrive in Akureyri for dinner and sightseeing around the town.

Stop At: Dalvik City Hall, Goðabraut 2, Dalvík, Iceland

At the end of the day we will make our way back to our accommodation in Dalvík.

Duration: 13 hours 50 minutes

Stop At: Glaumbaer Museum, Glaumbaer, Varmahlid 560 Iceland
After your adventure at sea you will start making your way back to Reykjavik. On the way you will stop by Glaumbaer Turf Farm, nominated for a UNESCO World Heritage status. These historic turf houses are said to have been from the Age of the Settlements, the oldest one being built in the 18th century. Leaving Glaumbaer behind you will travel back to Reykjavik where your tour ends.

Stop At: Arctic Sea Tours Whale Watching, Hafnarbraut, Dalvík, Iceland
Your last day includes a whale watching tour to see the gentle giants of the North. After seeing the whales you will get the chance to do some sea angling on the way back to the harbor continued by a barbecue of today's catch.
