Day 1: Reykjavík - Landmannalaugar - Hrafntinnusker
Stop At: F208 to F224, Landmannalaugar Iceland
You will arrive in Lanmannalaugar, the famous geothermal area, around noon and have your lunch before starting your hike south.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Laugavegur, hot springs area of Landmannalaugar to the glacial valley of Porsmork, Landmannalaugar Iceland
You will start your Laugavegur hike from Landmannalaugar and head south past gorges, steaming hot springs and yellow mountain ridges before arriving in Hrafntinnusker.

Day 2: Hrafntinnusker - Álftavatn
Stop At: Hrafntinnusker Hut, Iceland
You will wake up early morning in Hrafntinnusker and start your journey of the day to Álftavatn.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Alftavatn Lake, Iceland
On your way to Álftavatn you will descend down in the gullies of Jökultungur passing with its steaming hot springs and mud pools. You will then arrive in Álftavatn (Swan Lake).
Duration: 4 hours

Day 3: Álftavatn - Emstrur
Stop At: Alftavatn Lake, Iceland
Your third day of the hike starts with passing the foot of the green conic volcano Stórasúla. You will then enter the black sand desert of Mælifellssandur, and continue heading south towards the ancient volcano Hattfell.

Stop At: Emstrur-Botnar Hut, Iceland
Arriving in Emstrur in the afternoon where you will spend the night.

Day 4: Emstrur - Þórsmörk
Stop At: Emstrur-Botnar Hut, Iceland
The day starts by going up and down the small valleys and gullies of Emstrur only few kilometers from Mýrdalsjökull
Duration: 6 hours
Stop At: Thorsmork, Suðurland, via road, Þórsmerkurvegur, Hvolsvöllur, Iceland
You will then arrive in Þórsmörk, named after the pagan thunder god Thor. The vegetation grows higher and thicker and the valley is filled with arctic birch forests and colorful flowers.

Day 5: Þórsmörk Valley

Day 6: Þórsmörk - Fimmvörðuháls
Stop At: Fimmvorduhals Hiking Trail, Skogar Iceland
Today the second part of this combo tour starts. You will leave Þórsmörk and start your hike over Fimmvörðuháls. The trail takes you to the newly formed lava from the eruption in 2010 and past the craters Magni and Móði.
