About this activity

Following a 8pm, 9pm, 10pm or 10:30pm departure from Reykjavik Terminal, or 30 minutes before departure if you have chosen hotel pick-up, meet your guide and take a seat in your bus for the onward journey into the Icelandic countryside — far from the glimmer of the bright city lights. Along the way, learn all about the Northern Lights from your informative on-board audio guide.

On arrival, disembark and gaze up at the skies for sightings of the Northern Lights shimmering over the snowy landscape. With your tripod provided, capture the spectacular scenes through the camera lens and listen as your guide explains how to take the perfect shot.

At the end of your viewing session, return to Reykjavik Terminal or drop-off back at your hotel.

Remember to take warm clothes! But worth it. Make sure you take a good camera as you see the lights through that great, much better than with the naked eye
