Golden Circle food tasting and sightseeing tour from Reykjavík
On this tour you will explore Iceland’s sightseeing highlights on the Golden Circle and you will enjoy samplings of delicious local food specialties at selected establishments along the route.
You will stop at Efstidalur Farm for lunch, where you will taste a selection of homemade fresh products. Then you will be dropped at the family operated Friðheimar Greenhouse & Café to sample some of their sweet tomatoes, chutneys and jams. On your way back to Reykjavik, you will stop at Íslenski Bærinn Turf House for traditional Icelandic delicacies like pancakes with whipped cream and rhubarb jelly.
The Turf House is one of Iceland’s best-preserved turf farms, the style of building that from the time of settlement kept Icelanders alive in the harsh Arctic climate.
