Quite a long journey out, but the spectacular scenery makes this easy to bear. The Secret Lagoon is pleasantly understated, basic but comfortable reception and changing facilities lead you out into the splendidly unspoilt lagoon. We were there when it opened at 10am until noon, and never did it feel busy or congested. We really enjoyed this visit, and left feeling very refreshed.
The Staff were extremely helpful from booking, changing dates and accommodating each and every request. Once in Iceland the friendliness of the tour guides and patience were amazing. I highly recommend the Secret Lagoon compared to the Blue Lagoon as it is more authentic and less expensive considering pricing of drinks, you have more time to enjoy the hot pool. Topped with the golden circle tour after, the day was magical. Great service all round, very hard to find nowadays. I will certainly do this trip again, I only wish we had more than two hours at the hot pool. I rarely give reviews, thank you for a wonderful day!
