DAY 1 Arrival in Reykjavik

Spend the day in Reykjavik, exploring this amazing city.

DAY 2 Tour Starts along South Shore We will start our tour, driving along the South Shore which has some of the most beautiful natural attractions in Iceland and spend the first night in the Vatnajökull area. The mesmerising Vatnajökull glacier is the largest ice cap in Iceland and the third largest glacier in Europe We will be stopping for lunch and at interesting sights on the way. DAY 3 Vatnajökull Glacier We will explore the Vatnajökull Glacier in the Vatnajökull National park. It is the largest ice cap in Iceland and the third largest glacier in Europe. Underneath the glacier rests some of the most active volcanoes. Apart from the glacier, the National Park includes some highly regarded natural marvels; huge glacier rivers, stunning canyons, beautiful glacier lagoons and very impressive waterfalls. DAY 4 Vík We move to another amazing place on the South Shore, Vík í Mýrdal which is the southernmost sea front village in Iceland. The very alluring Vík can certainly hold its own in the breath-taking stakes and is full of natural wonders it and one area that cannot be missed. Visit the beautiful Vík í Mýrdal Church, photograph amazing panoramas of the village and beyond, explore the Dyrhólaey peninsula, with stunning, with views of the Mýrdalsjökull glacier, and investigate the basalt columns, unique lava formations, towering cliffs, and caves of the cool and famous Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach. DAY 5 South Shore and Flúðir We carry on our tour of the spectacular South Shore and then head to Fludir, famous for the ever-popular geothermal destinations Gullfoss and Geysir. The village and its surrounding area are known for being exceptionally green, plentiful and warm because of geothermal activity. The rivers are awash with trout and salmon, and the village's surrounding farmlands are acclaimed for their cultivation of plants, beef and dairy. Daily class and evening editing session.

DAY 6 Golden Circle We continue to the famous “Golden Circle” which consists of three equally stunning locations. Revel in the sheer aesthetic beauty of the Pingvellir National Park, be amazed by the incredible spectacle of nature, the Geysir Geothermal Area and have your breathe taken away by the Gullfoss waterfall. These sites are renowned across the world and are all as spectacular as they are unique.

DAY 7 Reykjavik and Reykjanes We return to Reykjavik and Whalewatching and The Blue Lagoon are optional activities and not included in the trip price. The Blue Lagoon is an incredible geothermal spa set in an otherworldly area where lava and geothermal water meet and complement each other.

DAY 8 Check out and transfer to airport.
