Mountain Skills Course

The aim of the course is to give participants all-around base in mountaineering and make them more fit for travels on glaciers and in the mountains on their own in a safe way. Among the course objectives are general rope work, making of rock- and snow anchors, crevasse rescue and ice climbing, safety issues regarding avalanches and beacon search, glacier and mountain travels, crampon technique, self-arrest with an ice-axe and a lot more.
