Private 8 days and 7 nights SUV Tour in Iceland

Day 1 

Your private transfer will be waiting at the arrival hall that takes you from KEF International Airport to your Hotel in Reykjavik. The transfer between Keflavík International Airport (KEF) and downtown Reykjavik takes approximately 45-50 minutes but since check in is usually at 2.pm it is ideal to use the time to take a little detour on the way for some geothermal sightseeing.

Day 2 

Today you can enjoy the city and enjoy some of the many great restaurants Reykjavik has to offer (do not miss the famous hot dog stand), see the sights, shop or just relax, you can even relax like the locals do at one of many geothermal swimming pools in Reykjavik. 

Day 3 

Today you have the chance to see the famous Golden Circle.

The Golden Circle allows you to visit some of Iceland’s most stunning sights, starting with the historical and geological wonder that is Thingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimetres per year. There you will also find the first parliament in the world.

The visit continues with the Geysir geothermal area where the Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 metres (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces.

The Golden Circle also includes Gullfoss (Golden Falls) waterfall, created by the river Hvítá, which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 m (105 ft.) deep.

Day 4 

Next up is the South Shore and enjoying the sights on the way.

Many consider the South shore to be the most beautiful part of the country and there are many sights worth seeing and your private driver will be shore to take you too all the best ones.

Day 5 

Next up is continuing the South Shore and enjoying the sights on the way.

Main sight on the way is Glacier Lagoon and Skaftafell National Park. Otherwise you will enjoy the scenic views from the car and have some photo stops.

Day 6 

Today we drive back the South Shore to Vik and have an easy day to explore what we missed on the way and even have the option for driving inland.

Today would also be optional to do a hike to one of our favourite waterfalls!

Day 7 

Today we drive back the South Shore and have an easy day to explore what we missed on the way.

Today would also be optional to do the glacier walk if it was not done before.

End your Iceland trip with some luxury at the magnificent Silica hotel where you have the choice of relaxing in the Blue Lagoon and/or the hotels own private lagoon.

Day 8 

Today its time to leave Iceland and return home after a memorable trip!

Your private transfer will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the KEF airport.
