Hallgrímskirkja is a Lutheran parish church in Reykjavík, Iceland. At 74.5 metres high, it is the largest church in Iceland and among the tallest structures in the country. The church is named after the Icelandic poet and clergyman Hallgrímur Pétursson, author of the Passion Hymn.

Stop At: Solfar (Sun Voyager) Sculpture, Saebraut 101, Reykjavik 105 Iceland

The Sun Voyager is a sculpture by Jón Gunnar Árnason, located next to the Sæbraut road in Reykjavík, Iceland. Sun Voyager is described as a dreamboat, or an ode to the Sun. The artist intended it to convey the promise of undiscovered territory, a dream of hope, progress and freedom.

Stop At: Hofdi House, Reykjavik Iceland

Höfði is a house in Reykjavík, Iceland, best known as the location for the 1986 Reykjavík Summit meeting of presidents Ronald Reagan of the United States and Mikhail Gorbachev of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. That effectively was a step to the end of the Cold War.

In the heart of Reykjavík, Öskjuhlíð Hill rises 61 metres above sea level. On the top of the hill stands Perlan, one of the most visited attractions in Iceland. A landmark building composed of an immense glass dome that sits on six hot water tanks. Perlan was first opened to the public in June 1991 and became the home of the largest nature exhibition in Iceland in 2017. At Perlan’s top floor, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a delicious meal with spectacular views from every seat. You also find Rammagerðin, one of Iceland’s oldest gift stores, offering Icelandic design.

Kleifarvatn is one of Iceland's largest lakes, covering about 8m2. It rises 136 m. above sea level, with the deepest point at 90 m, near Syðri Stapi

Stop At: Krýsuvík, 42, Iceland

At Krýsuvík, dramatic red, green, and yellow coloured hills frame an expanse of steaming volcanic vents and boiling hot springs. Only a twenty-five minute drive from the centre of Hafnarfjörður, Krýsuvík is one of the most striking landscapes in Iceland. A well-maintained boardwalk winds through the bubbling and hissing field and information signage explaines the geology of the geothermal area.

Stop At: Gunnuhver Hot Springs, 63°49'09.5"N 22°41'06., Möðruvellir 4, Möðruvallavegur, Iceland

Gunnuhver is the name of an impressive and colourful geothermal field of various mud pools and fumaroles in the southwest part of the Reykjanes Peninsula.

Stop At: Reykjanes Lighthouse, Baejarfell Hill, Reykjanesbaer Iceland

The Reykjanes Lighthouse is Iceland's oldest lighthouse. It was built during 1907 and 1908 instead of the old lighthouse that had been built in 1878 but was destroyed by an earthquake eight years later. At the time, it was the most advanced and expensive structure to be built in Iceland.

The current Reykjanes Lighthouse was designed by the Danish architect Frederik Kjorbo and the Danish engineer Thorvald Krabbe. It is a 26.7-meter high concrete construction with traditional looks. The lighthouse was illuminated in 1929. Its focal plane measures 73 meters above sea level.
