This is where we the locals used to feed the ducks with bread and now our children do so - We pass by the lake on our quest for GREAT food & drinks & experiences :)

Laugavegur is the main shopping street - We only do a little window shopping as we are busy tasting our way through the city - Here, as always, we share our favourite parts, shops, restaurants and places as locals !

This cute little street is full of local artists and designers BUT our focus is on one of our favourite restaurants in NIceland of course ;)

This was a great tour but should be named differently since wine and beer were both paired with food.
I should have booked this tour the first or second day, instead of the next to last. We learned so much from Ymir and had a fabulous time! He loves to talk and share his love of Iceland and its food. I was traveling with my 20-year old daughter and she had just as great a time as I did. Ymir introduced us to his wife and let us into his life for the afternoon, a real treat. We met up with him briefly the next day as he, his wife and their sweet dog were off on a "classic clothes and bikes" ride and he greeted us as if we were old friends. He offers other tours and if we had started with him on the first day I would have booked another tour with him for sure.
