Despite the Cold and rain the tour lived up to our expectations. We were glad of the 24 hour freedom to explore
Taking this Hop on Hop off bus was not really appropriate for our itinerary the second day in Reykjavik. We had been there overnight so an early departing bus would have afforded more opportunity to see the city sites. The bus left only once an hour so we would not have been able to return to the ship on time if we had gotten off. As it was we did two complete circuits of the tour and got distance photos. The stops were appropriate-having only 4 hours just did not give us enough time .
The tour wasn't really a hop on hop off tour as if you didn't make it clear to the driver you wanted to stop he just drove by. Also it was more of a tour of the city rather than get of and see the sights. The sights are mainly around the centre for which you don't need the bus
Because of violent storms our ship the Emerald Princess was unable to make this port.
